The Racine Kenosha Community Action Agency, Inc. receives federal, state, local and private funding. All funding is tracked separately and accounted for by the Finance Department, according to auditing and funding source guidelines. The agency is closely monitored fiscally by a third-party annual audit and periodic audits from all funding sources. As of October 2011, the agency had 18 continuing grants, 2 Recovery Act grants and an operating budget of over $10 million. The Finance Department works with all programs to ensure quality and accountability around inventory, budgeting and financial management.
