Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

 

What is WIC?

 

The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) provides food and nutrition information to help keep pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants, and children under five years of age healthy and strong.

 

WIC provides:

 

  • Checks to buy foods that help keep you and your children healthy.
  • Nutrition Information and Breastfeeding Information and support
  • Health and diet assessments; individualized nutrition counseling
  • Check Weight, Height, Iron and Lead testing  
  • Information and referrals to other community resources and programs

Who is eligible for WIC? You may qualify for WIC, if:
