Racine Kenosha Community Action Agency, Inc. (RKCAA), in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) and Wisconsin Community Action Program Association (WISCAP) has launched the Wisconsin Emergency Rental Assistance (WERA) program the week of February 22, 2021. Prospective eligible residents in Racine and Kenosha counties who need help with rent due to the loss of income related to the COVID-19 Pandemic may call (262) 637-8377 in Racine County and (262) 657-0840 in Kenosha County.
Eligible households for assistance under WERA include the following:
Has a household income at or below 80 percent of County Medium Income (CMI).
Renter Verification Form (Must be signed by both the Tenant and Landlord)
Vendor Landlord Agreement (VLA)
